Hotel Ilunion San Sebastian

The hotel is just a 4-minute walk from the beautiful Ondarreta Beach. We really enjoyed the spacious room and the friendly atmosphere around. Our kids loved the nearby playgrounds, while we enjoyed nice pastries and coffee from the hotel restaurant.

My children wished there was a pool for them to swim in.

We would definitely recommend it.

comfortable room but missing a few details

The room offered a large, airy space. The comfort of the bed ensured I got a good night's sleep. The friendly, helpful staff created a cute atmosphere.

Parking underneath the hotel felt expensive at 20E for one night.

The Hotel is an ideal base for exploring the area/ shopping/walking. The Staff are friendly /very helpful/ the food quality excellant / Would certainly recomend this hotel. Very high standard maintained/ Well done.

The daily breakfast was generous and freshly cooked with numerous breads, omelette by the chef plus lovely fresh fruit. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the centre and old quarter and funicular railway station for Monte Igueldo.

Sweet as location near the beach, but I wasn't stoked about the dated decor and the breakfast prices were a bit over the top, eh? We enjoyed our stay!

Staff are helpful, we had a fantastic meal in the restaurant and not expensive. Breakfast is good but not worth the e16 each, plenty of coffee shops and restaurants close. Hotel is at opposite end to city centre - 20 minute walk along the beach, very pleasant, many good bars and restaurants close by, so you don't have to head for the city centre. Very satisfied with hotel would stay here again.

Only bad thing and its not really that bad was the breakfast was too expensive.

The hotel reception were very helpful about local attractions and organising taxis etc etc. Breakfast buffet was excellent. room was s[potless and very well appointed. Exceeded expectations.

During my stay at Ilunion in San Sebastian, the spacious room offered a lovely view over the gardens. The hotel’s proximity to the beautiful beach promenade allowed for serene evening strolls. A minor downside was the restaurant being closed to guests not in a group, but the nearby options were good.

Room was comfortable and located close to Ondarreta beach. Cafeteria menu was very good and food of good quality. Secure car parking.

Disappointed that there were no baconies to the rooms as was stated in the publicity

San Sebastian was a lovely surprise. Great for a city break. Gorgeous beach and views. Absolutely fab food in the old town.

The room was spacious and cozy with a nice view. Breakfast was amazin, tons of options to choose from, and the service was super friendly. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, a bonus! There were cute local bars and shops nearby for a chill evening.

I wished there was more English channels on the TV. The heating in the room wasn't that great, so it got a bit chilly at night.

The room was spacious and clean but, for the price, that was to be expected.

The car parking situation was tedious. For some reason, even with advance notice the night before, they couldn't get it together to produce the car on time.

Very close to the beach (Playa Ondaretta) and the walk/bike/bus to Old town was not bad atall!

Did not seem like a 4star/not as great of value for almost 200 euros a night...but overall an enjoyable stay!
